Cleveland ohiooooooo....?

me and a couple friends are taking a day trip to cleveland in a few weeks, were looking for a few things to do.. we want to hit up sonic on our way because in buffalo ny they dont have any, when we first get there we plan to stop by the zoo for a little bit.. does anyone know of any fun things to do? how is downtown cleveland.. and are there any awesome shops around (like the shop on the show oddities but thats in nyc) any suggestions on resturants that arent to expensive...? any info on cleveland is helpful.
